Silane impregnant

Henan Zhengda Building Materials Co., Ltd. researches and produces silane impregnation agents, which are high-performance penetrating coatings with silane compounds as the main component. They appear as a colorless to light yellow transparent liquid and possess excellent weather resistance, corrosion resistance, and permeability.

I. Product Introduction

Henan Zhengda Building Materials Co., Ltd.'s research and development of silane impregnation agent is a high-performance penetrating coating with silane compounds as the main component. It is a colorless to light yellow transparent liquid with excellent weather resistance, corrosion resistance, and permeability. Through chemical bonding reaction, it forms a water-repellent and breathable layer on the surface of the substrate, effectively preventing erosion by water, chloride ions, etc., and extending the service life of concrete, metal and other materials.

II. Technical Parameters

Item

Approximately 29℃ (Isobutyltriethoxysilane)

Penetration Depth

≥3mm (Concrete Substrate)

Packaging Specification

15kg/barrel, 20kg/barrel, etc.

III. Scope of Application

1. Substrate Types: Concrete, metal (such as reinforcing steel), glass, ceramics, etc.

2. Application Scenarios:

A. Seaport wharves, cross-sea bridges, tunnels, airport runways, and other concrete structure protection.

B. Highways, bridges, and sewage treatment plants subject to salt spray, acid rain, freeze-thaw, and de-icing salt erosion.

IV. Performance Characteristics

1. Corrosion Resistance: Reduces chloride ion permeability by more than 90%, resistant to acids, alkalis, salts, and ultraviolet light.

2. Hydrophobic and Breathable: Maintains substrate breathability, preventing water penetration while avoiding blistering and peeling.

3. Long-lasting Protection: Outdoor weather resistance can reach 20 years, significantly extending the service life of the structure.

4. Convenient Construction: Supports various methods such as spraying, rolling, and brushing, with strong permeability and no need for dilution.

V. Construction Methods

1. Substrate Treatment:

A. Remove surface oil, dust, and loose attachments, ensuring the substrate is dry (water content ≤6%).

B. Newly poured concrete needs to be fully cured, and the remaining release agent needs to be tested to confirm its impact.

2. Construction Methods:

A. Spraying: High-pressure airless spraying is recommended. For vertical surface construction, spraying should be done from bottom to top, with a dripping length of 15-20cm.

B. Rolling/Brushing: Repeat application until the surface is wet, ensuring penetration depth.

3. Curing Conditions: Natural curing in a dry environment, avoiding rain, snow, winds above level 5, and temperatures below 0℃.

VI. Precautions

1. Safety Protection: Ventilation is required during construction, keep away from fire sources; ethanol is released during curing, so fire and explosion prevention is necessary.

2. Dosage Control: The theoretical dosage refers to the product description, and the actual dosage needs to be adjusted according to the substrate porosity and construction process.

3. Quality Verification: Small-area testing should be carried out before large-area construction to ensure that the penetration effect meets the requirements (refer to the JTJ275-2000 standard).

VII. Storage and Transportation

1. Store in a sealed container in a cool, ventilated place, avoiding high temperatures or freezing 46.

2. During transportation, handle as flammable goods and prevent tilting and leakage.
